Gavin Astor House
Gavin Astor House was opened in 1993 and lies within the extensive and well maintained grounds of the Royal British Legion Village.
The home is purpose-built for adults aged between 18 and 65 or those who are over 65 with a physical disability, who have been assessed as needing nursing care. We also deliver respite, short term and intermediate care.
With just 50 bedrooms, our relatively high staff to resident ration means we can deliver the levels of quality care and personal attention that our residents deserve. For those in our care it means a happy and fulfilling life in safe and comfortable surroundings. For their family and friends it means peace of mind.
In 2009 Gavin Astor House was awarded a “Three Star Excellence” rating from the Care Quality Commission, in recognition of the services it provides.
