Gavin Astor House

Gavin Astor House, located within the Royal British Legion Village, is a high dependency nursing facility where 84% of residents have a military connection.

Set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, Gavin Astor House offers single private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Residents are provided with a choice of meals and can take part in a wide selection of activities - the latest being a trip to Buckingham Palace!

The home is purpose-built for adults from the age of 18+ who either have a physical disability or have been assessed as needing nursing care. Gavin Astor is also able to deliver high-quality respite, short term and intermediate care.

The 50-bed residential nursing home offers 24-hour nursing care delivered with dignity, privacy and respect. Its aim is to enable residents to live life to the full in a home-from-home environment, and to enjoy as much independence as possible within safe and secure surroundings. There are also communal living areas and a dining room where residents can meet and socialise with their friends and join in with activities.

Its high staff-to-resident ratio means it can deliver the levels of quality care and personal attention. For those in our care it means a happy and fulfilling life in safe and comfortable surroundings. For their family and friends it means peace of mind.

Gavin Astor House was opened in 1993 and lies within the extensive and well maintained grounds of the Royal British Legion Village, in Aylesford, Kent, and is easily accessible from the M20 and M2 motorways.

Before residents move in, we carry out a pre-admission assessment to obtain a complete and detailes picture of their specific needs. This ensures that we are prepared to provide them with the standard of care they deserve.
